ShopWalk Red Bluff to be a Monthly Event
On the third Saturday of every month Downtown Red Bluff retail merchants are presenting ShopWalk Red Bluff, a day of fun for shoppers, travelers and families. It is also a date night. Retail merchants and restaurants will offer specials or discounts for their customers. Crafters and Farms will fill their tables on the sidewalks or in their partner store during wet weather. Musicians will play their music on street corners; artists will paint or be featured at receptions.
In downtown Red Bluff there are over 55 retail stores and galleries for shoppers to enjoy. They are all within walking distance of the Cone & Kimball clock tower. They are located on one block of Oak, five blocks on Walnut, three blocks on Main, Madison at Oak, and on Jefferson one block off North of Walnut.
Shopping in Downtown Red Bluff offers seven restaurants, three book stores, three antique shops, entertainment by Bare Stage Theater and The State theatre; there is a music store, a party store; three jewelers and seven home furnishing/décor merchants and thirty retail merchants and galleries. There are ten shopping choices for young and mature fashions. Leister’s Ice Café just opened in the old Rydel’s. Shoppers may enjoy the shade of the clock tower while they read the bricks and enjoy a cone.
The first action packed ShopWalk Red Bluff is September 20th. In addition to street musicians, there will also be crafters and local farms setting up tables on Oak, Walnut, and Main. The second Annual Great Ride, lunch and a movie, a motorbike fund raiser for the State Theatre starts the day with check in, show and shine and pastries at 8:00 am. State Theatre director Venita Philbrick has invited those that don’t ride to enjoy the lunch and movie for $10.
This first ShopWalk also will end the day with the rescheduled fireworks from the 4th of July.
October ShopWalk Red Bluff will have the kickoff for the Western Open Fiddlers concert at The State Theatre.
Farms, crafters, musicians and entertainers are asked to team up and partner with a ShopWalk merchant.
